We are currently part of the Anthem BCBS PPO (excluding Healthkeepers and Carefirst HMO), Cigna Open Access (except Surefit and ConnectCare), United Healthcare PPO, and Aetna PPO (Not Aetna Innovations) networks. We are also non-participating providers for Medicare. That means we are still able to examine and treat patients with Medicare, however, we require payment in full at the time of the appointment. Your claim will be filed electronically for reimbursement within 24 hours. Our fees strictly follow the Medicare-posted limiting fee schedules. Within weeks you will receive a reimbursement payment from Medicare and/or your secondary commercial insurance if you provide us with that information. You should expect at least 90% of the charges reimbursed and sometimes in full if secondary insurance benefits are coordinated.
You may want to double check with your health insurance company to determine if Dr. Ha is in your plan. Even if we are not in your insurance company's network, we are capable of electronically filing your claim and can provide you with an itemized summary containing standard codes for reimbursement of the services rendered if your policy allows out-of-network benefits. Our billing staff works very hard on your behalf to maximize your benefit.
