How can we help you?
Please contact our office to schedule an examination with our clinicians. At Prince William Dermatology, all examinations and treatments are performed by the dermatologist or trained PA. Being trained specialists in the pathophysiology of the skin, we are unparalleled in these skills. Before considering these services elsewhere, ask your physician if their residency and board certification included dermatology training. Settle for no less.

Medical Services
Here at Prince William Dermatology we pride ourselves in being the best medical and surgical practice to diagnose and treat patients of all ages. We strive to provide accurate, low-pressure, compassionate care. Every visit starts with a conversation followed by a thorough examination, concluding with diagnoses, treatment plans and necessary procedures performed on the same day within reason. We know you're busy, so we'll try to provide "one-stop shopping" to reduce the need for excessive follow-up appointments.
Surgical Services
Should a surgical procedure be necessary, Dr. Ha has successfully performed over 15,000 excisions and is residency-trained to remove most skin cancers as well as benign lesions and tumors. All surgery is performed comfortably in the clinic without the need for unnecessary, costly outpatient surgery. Pain control is achieved utilizing quick-acting, local anesthetics without causing drowsiness. Patients often do not require assistance or transport but companions are always welcome and may accompany the patient into the room. Meticulous care is taken using advanced, plastic surgical techniques to achieve the best cosmetic outcome. Most procedures are completed in less than a half hour.
We excel in:
- Full-body or focused skin cancer examinations (our PAs can examine women who prefer a female provider)
- Mole removal
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Warts & Molluscum

For patients with Medicare who medically qualify, an alternative to surgical excision and MOHS surgery is offered for treating non-melanoma skin cancers such as basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma: Image Guided Superficial Radiotherapy (IGSRT). This treatment is offered to patients who have concerns of:
- being a poor candidate for excision due to the large size of the cancer,
- excessive bleeding because of blood thinners,
- poor wound healing because of thin skin or difficult body location,
- not being able to perform self wound care such as on the back,
- cosmetic outcome of surgery,
- would otherwise be a candidate for MOHS surgery who wish to avoid having the procedure,
- prefer the convenience of a familiar setting than being referred to a radiation oncology facility
